Jordon Jay
President/Owner
Jordon Jay is the President and Owner of Jay Transport and Jay Capital. Jordon has a lifetime of experience being around trucks. At a young age, Jordon was answering phones, booking loads, and on the weekends, working on trucks at his parents’ company. Jordon purchased the company from his parents at the age of 19 and began his adventure of entrepreneurship. Jordon manages the daily operations and oversees asset management and drivers. He has a passion for customer service, communication, and going above and beyond expectations.
Terra Jay
VicePresident/Owner
Terra Jay is the Vice President and Owner of Jay Transport and Jay Capital. She has over 10 years of experience in the transportation industry as a trucking company owner and broker. Her main focus is administration, workflow mapping and analysis, and cash flow and budgeting over multiple entities. Terra oversees in-house professional driver safety programs including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration and queries, and driver qualifications. She has extensive experience in motor carrier multi-state tax processing, reporting, and filing. Terra has a passion for helping owner-operators become organized and compliant with FMCSA regulations.
Curtis Jones
Operations Manager
Curtis has been in the trucking industry for over a decade and has driven over a million miles. He has experience handling anything from agricultural products, hazardous materials, and a wide range of commodities hauled via flatbed trailers. Curtis has a passion for working hard and getting the job done right. He has a natural ability to connect with and take care of those around him. Curtis enjoys all the aspects of trucking and has a “can do” attitude to see it through.
Tawny Hendricks
Administrative Manager
Tawny was born in Idaho and had lived in many states across the US. She has 30 years of experience in management. Tawny works closely with customers to ensure their needs are met on a daily basis and especially when things are urgent. She enjoys working for Jay Transport and is looking forward to many years of continued growth and success. When not multitasking like a pro, Tawny is gardening, fishing, and spending time with her 6 children, 3 son-in-laws, and 3 grandchildren. She loves to be outdoors and is often seen in her swing hanging from the willow tree in her front yard.
Courtney Lamica
Brokerage Manager
Courtney is a wife and mother who moved to Rigby, Idaho three years ago in support of her husband and his job promotion. Courtney started at Jay Transport over two years ago as an accounting assistant. She has mastered many tasks vital to daily office functions. Courtney quickly progressed into a brokerage manager, and she works hard to increase our ability to meet our customers’ freight needs. Courtney is here to help carriers find the perfect load for their truck and to help customers find the perfect truck for their loads. When Courtney is not at work, she is typically found barefoot in her garden, enjoying the outdoors, hiking, swimming, and camping with her family.
Chase Hodges
Shop Manager
Chase Hodges has had a love for mechanics and equipment since he was young. Chase came to Jay Transport in 2020 and has become a valuable asset to the company. Chase is seen most days covered in grease from working on the equipment. He maintains a strict maintenance program for all of our equipment, and he is skilled at fabricating, welding, painting, and fixing just about everything on our equipment. When Chase is not at work, he is enjoying life with his family and is often found in his home shop working on his hobby vehicles or riding his dirt bike with friends.
Blake Davis
Equipment Manager
Blake Davis came to Jay Transport in 2021 as a wash kid and quickly advanced into Chase’s right-hand man. Blake oversees all equipment to ensure the proper tarps, chains, straps etc. are in each truck or trailer for the drivers. Blake also assists Chase in the shop with our in-house maintenance program, custom fabrications, and filling in wherever he may be needed. Blake enjoys camping, fishing, dirt biking, and spending time with family and friends.
Bailey Sutton-Moser
Accounting Dept.
Bailey has lived in the Archer, ID area for the majority of her life. She is married to a trucker and together they raise a beautiful daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling abroad. Some of her favorite destinations this far are Slovenia, Panama, and The Netherlands. She also enjoys reading and quilting and has been a licensed cosmetologist for 11 years.
Cierra Hill
Accounting Dept.
Cierra, a member of our accounting department, is not only knowledgeable in her position but also passionate about the outdoors, shooting guns, paddle boarding, and quality time with her family. Her laid-back demeanor and love for humor make her a delightful addition to our team.
Braxton Funk
Shop Technician
Braxton has a passion for mechanics and takes great joy in transforming trucks into impressive, polished machines. Engaging in various projects and collaborating with friends in the shop is something he genuinely enjoys. Brian’s aspiration is to climb the ranks within the shop and obtain his CDL, furthering his commitment to this field. The camaraderie and the hands-on nature of the work are what draws him to the shop, and he finds fulfillment in every moment spent working on the projects alongside his friends.
